SAS Consultant required for Major International Bank!

SAS Consultant (Contract) 3m, London or Edinburgh

The overall purpose of this role is to support the successful deployment of SAS Grid Computing.

Specifically, this requires:-

• Clear technical understanding of the SAS Product Portfolio and its deployment, in particular SAS Grid Computing, preferably within a Financial Services environment;
  Advising, guiding and supporting the client in how best to deploy SAS Grid Computing(TM) to
  (i) Meet the immediate needs of the business and the various data initiatives, and 
  (ii) Effectively provision SAS, such that it enables the client to mitigate the need for local deployments whilst ensuring the requirements of the wider international user community can be met.

  The Consultant will need to demonstrate the following attributes:- 
  analytical, 
  problem-solving, 
  credible with both technical and business staff – often at a senior level,
  ability to undertake vendor management responsibilities
  capable of articulating, reconciling and successfully resolving contrasting views and requirements.

  This role can be based either in London or Edinburgh
